Due to Covid-19, we are now offering telephone consultations/ appointments. Prior to booking your appointment, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the options of face to face or virtual appointments.
The income generated by our private patients is important to Oxleas NHS and is re-invested to develop our community and mental health services across south London.

* Based on treatment and clinician recommendation.
** Shockwave therapy will need to be delivered in 3 consecutive sessions 7-10 days apart. 
Cost includes a 25 minute review appointment after 3x shockwave sessions.    
*** The Custom Orthotics package is inclusive of all fitting sessions, follow-up appointments and any necessary adjustments required.  
A 15% discount is available for NHS staff for all treatments listed.
Your assessment
Every referral will be reviewed by a physiotherapist or podiatrist. You will then be invited to a face-to-face assessment with an Extended Scope Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Physiotherapist.
During this assessment we aim to:
- Provide a diagnosis for your condition / complaint
- Organise for appropriate tests if required (x-ray, scans, blood tests)
- Commence a treatment plan where appropriate
- Advise you as to the best management of your condition
- Organise for you to be referred onto other specialties where indicated
- Organise for further treatment within the team as required.
Your treatment
Once assessed, you will be offered a range of treatment as recommended. Your treatment plan may include:
- Soft tissue and joint mobilisation and manipulation
- Detailed advice on rehabilitation exercises and / or management strategies to help resolve your symptoms   
- A range of expert advice and equipment, such as Ultrasound Diagnostic Imaging, Gait Analysis (can be as part of your Initial Assessment) and Shockwave Therapy.

Holly Laws
Clinical Lead, Extended Scope Physiotherapist and Musculoskeletal Sonographer
Holly graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2004 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy before later completing a Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy, a diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and a PG cert in Musculoskeletal Sonography. She is the Clinical Lead for the Adult MSK team and Head of Profession for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
Since graduation, Holly has worked both in the NHS and sports environments. She led a team of physiotherapists and medics at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games as well as working at the London Olympic Games in 2012. Holly has also worked at several other international games including the European Games.
Holly is skilled in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions in all populations using a range of assessment techniques including ultrasound imaging. She is also experienced in the use of injection therapy, acupuncture and manual therapy amongst a range of other skills.
Holly has a huge interest in biomechanics particularly relating to movement dysfunctions.
As a keen triathlete, cyclist and runner Holly is keen to facilitate her clients to gain the best out of life that they possibly can through optimising movement and fitness.
David Finney
Highly Specialist Physiotherapist
David is a specialist physiotherapist and qualified in 2011 from the University of East Anglia. David is skilled in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is trained in the use of shockwave therapy, Graston technique, sports taping, exercise therapy and gait / running analysis amongst a range of other skills.
Outside of work, David is a keen gym goer and participates in various recreational activities including football, tennis, climbing, skiing and hiking. He has experience of providing treatment for sports related injuries to athletes as well as to patients with everyday ailments and those who have had surgical procedures.
Frankie Newby
Advanced Physiotherapist
Frankie is a specialist physiotherapist who qualified in 2010 from Brunel University. Frankie is skilled in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is trained in the use of shockwave therapy and gait analysis amongst a range of other skills including running gait analysis.
Outside of work, Frankie is a keen rugby player and triathlete who has a wealth of knowledge in the treatment of athletes with upper and lower limb disorders.
Podiatry
Our podiatry team specialises in lower limb biomechanics. A variety of skills are used to identify any structural or functional contributions to pain and dysfunction affecting the foot, lower limb or further up into the spine and upper body.
Sophie Brewer
Advanced Podiatrist
Sophie is a specialist podiatrist and qualified in Podiatry BSc from the University of Southampton.
Sophie is skilled in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is also skilled in acupuncture and orthotics prescription.
Sophie is trained in the use of shockwave therapy and gait analysis amongst a range of other skills.
Outside of work, Sophie is a keen cyclist and has a wealth of knowledge in the treatment of athletes.
Aminat Adeleke
Advanced Podiatrist
Aminat is an advanced podiatrist and qualified in 2012 from the University of Brighton. Aminat is skilled in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is also skilled in acupuncture, orthotic intervention and corticosteroid injection therapy.
She is trained in the use of shockwave therapy and gait analysis amongst a range of other skills.
Outside of work, Aminat is an avid reader.
Johnny Barber
Highly Specialist Podiatrist
Johnny is a musculoskeletal specialist podiatrist. He qualified in 2016 with a first class honours degree in podiatry from the University of Southampton. Johnny is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions relating to the foot and ankle. He is trained in gait analysis, prescription of prefabricated and custom foot orthotics and shockwave therapy.
Outside of work, Johnny plays for a local football team and also enjoys cycling, tennis and skiing.
